Dental implants
High-quality implants are today the most durable long-term solution to replace missing teeth, without affecting neighbouring teeth and restoring both function and aesthetics.
Dental implants
What is it?
An implant is a small titanium post placed in the bone that acts as the root of the tooth. A crown is fixed on top that looks and works like a natural tooth.
Our oral surgeon and implantologist studies each case to plan the placement safely and precisely, explaining every step of the process.
Who is it for?
- One or more missing teeth
- Replacing bridges or removable dentures
- Dentures that move when eating or talking
- Regaining confidence when smiling

Frequently asked questions
Every case is different: at your first visit we will assess whether this treatment is right for you.
Placement is done under local anaesthesia, so it doesn’t hurt. Afterwards there may be mild discomfort, easily managed with medication.
It depends on each case and the available bone. There is usually an integration period of several weeks before the final crown.
In many cases bone grafts or a sinus lift can help. We assess this during the initial study.
